University of Bolton, why we are the right choice
Location - Bolton, Greater Manchester
Angela is a Registered Adult Nurse and qualified in 2001. She has a Diploma in Nursing from the University of Salford and a BA Hons degree Health Studies, Certificate in Education and Masters degree in Education from The University of Bolton. The main part of her career has been in education, and she has worked in Further Education for over 16 years before joining The University of Bolton. She has recently completed the ‘Return to Nursing’ level 7 programme, to ensure her knowledge and skills are up to date.
Angela joined The University of Bolton in February 2002 as a Lecturer in Nursing and was promoted to Senior Lecturer and academic quality lead 9 months later. The role ‘Standards Enhancement Learner Experience’ (SELE), allows Angela to utilise her previous experience, of working in a quality role in Further Education.
Angela currently works with all programmes across the School of Nursing and Midwifery. Including Apprenticeship programmes and is currently studying her Professional Doctorate in Education.
