James Hunt

Lecturer

James Hunt is an Associate lecturer at the National Centre for Motorsport Engineering. James has recently completed a Masters degree at the University of Bolton in Motorsport engineering with distinction following on from a First-class Honours undergraduate degree.

Attending the university for over four years as a student provides him with first-hand experience of university life and how the course is structured. This provides a unique perspective of the course content and demands of university life that only a student could recognise, bringing him closer to the people he teaches.

With significant experience within the UK Motorsport industry including in British Touring cars, British GT and TCR UK. James also races himself in the National 125GP Motorcycle championship, regularly racing at circuits across the UK.

This provides him with a background of information which informs the use of real-world examples within the classroom.
