Mohammed is a computer scientist with a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science from the University of Leeds and an MSc (Hons) in Advanced Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence from the University of Manchester. Their passion and interests lie in games programming, teaching on games-related degrees, and pursuing their own research projects. Their research covers computer graphics, engine development, systems programming, optimization, gameplay programming and mathematical and physics simulations.
Research Interests and Research Subject Specialisms:
Mohammed has a profound interest in all facets of game programming, spanning from low-level assembly optimization to gameplay programming. Their interests encompass mathematical and physical simulations employed in games, computer graphics rendering, and shader programming, in addition to fundamental programming concepts like algorithms and data structures. Furthermore, they are also keenly interested in cross-platform programming, real-time rendering, game audio, real-time illumination programming, and tool development. Moreover, they have extensive experience in teaching Unity3D Engine with C# and Unreal Engine 5 with C++, with a specific focus on artificial intelligence for games, network programming, and engine architecture.
