Dr Andrew Chimenya

Andrew is a Business and Management Lecturer in the Institute of Management. He obtained his PhD from the Institute of Management, University of Bolton and Master of Science in Human Resource Development from the School of Environment, Education and Development (SED) University of Manchester, and Master of Arts in Educational Leadership from the University of Bolton. Andrew also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in International Management, Bachelor of Arts in Human Resource Management and Professional Graduate of Certificate of Education from the International Management Institute (IMI) New Delhi, India, University of Malawi, and University of Bolton respectively.

Andrew teaches all areas of Human Resource Management across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. He is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA). He is a member of The British Academy of Management and a member of The Society for Education and Training (SET).

In addition, he is a Link-Tutor for undergraduate programmes between the partnership with University of Bolton Off-Campus and the Institute of Development Management (IDM) in Botswana. He is a Link-Tutor for a postgraduate programme for New York College (NYC) in Athens, Greece, and also part of the London School of Management Education Peer Review Group.

Andrew believes that the secret of joy in work is contained in one word-excellence. As such, he strives for the highest quality in everything he does. He enjoys collaborating with people from different disciplines.
