Bolton One

A £31 million health and sports centre, this provides everything for casual sports fans and serious athletes alike.

Step inside, where you’ll be given access to various sports facilities, including a large sports hall, a modern gym, 15m climbing wall, 25m swimming pool and a competition-level trampoline. You’ll also find the Athlete Development Centre, which helps athletes, sports teams and coaches at all levels improve their performance, and our Sports and Spinal Injury Clinic is open to everyone.

National Centre for Motorsports Engineering (NCME)

The only centre in the UK of its kind, we invested £13 million into this facility. Featuring an exceptional team of highly-qualified staff, with countless years of knowledge within the world of motorsport and engineering, each one works to provide students with the tools they need to achieve their career goals. They do this, not only through their expertise but through the centre’s purpose-built environment to give students a real-life experience to enhance employability. Learn more.

Centre for Dental Sciences

Inside our Queen’s Building, you’ll find these new £4.8 million purpose-built laboratories. These provide our dental students with state-of-the-art dental processing rooms where they can work on developing their skills to the highest standards. The rooms are sponsored by digital dental laboratory houses, and house extremely advanced, specialist industry-standard equipment.

Institute of Management Greater Manchester

Continuing to improve our offering to help better our current and future students, this is a £4 million custom-built business management centre. Designed to support students from a range of backgrounds, this is home to the ConnectED apprenticeship hub and works to provide students with the qualifications, skills and confidence to build exceptional careers for themselves.
