Greater Manchester Law School is the place to be if you aspire to have a successful career in the legal profession. With highly-experienced tutors and dedicated courtroom facilities, we offer excellent training in all the core areas of law in a supportive and personalised learning environment.
Whether you're seeking to forge a career as a solicitor, barrister, costs lawyer, legal executive or conveyancer, the University of Bolton's Law course is an excellent choice. They also offer an ideal springboard to a career in civil service, business management, politics, HR or finance.
All our undergraduate and postgraduate law degree courses have relatively small class sizes and are designed to prepare you to enter the legal profession as outstanding graduates. In addition, you will get the chance to join the prestigious University of Bolton Student Law Society, which organises court trips and guest speakers.
We have a dedicated Centre for Contemporary Coronial Law, as well as an undergraduate crime and criminal justice course recognised by leading crime and victim agencies, that provide you with a chance to specialise in your preferred legal area.
We have our own dedicated Law library, as well as a specialised law librarian. Online legal database resources are available via Lexis Library and Westlaw, and we use the virtual learning environment, Moodle, to create an interactive learning environment.
This course will support you in developing essential legal skills. You'll engage in mooting debates in our purpose-built courtroom, honing your critical reasoning, communication, and advocacy abilities.
Classes are taught in an law state-of the art Moot Law Court environment by lecturers with real-world experience including practising Solicitors and Barristers.
